1. Herbs
The main stars of Expo 2026 are the
exhibition building and Thai Tropical
Garden in the outdoor area where
various tropical plants would be showcased by categories of herbs, flowers,
tropical fruits, vegetables, industrial
plants, and cultural/economic plants.
2. Flowers and
Decorative Plants
The flowers showcased in the expo are divided
into two sections: orchids & flowers and decorative plants. For Orchids, the Orchid Garden will
showcase famous orchids known for their beauty,
economic value, and unique looks, planted in a
natural-style garden, while the Rare Orchid Exhibition
offers visitors opportunities to see rare and unique
orchids of both Thai and international origin, along
with their various benefits and uses, such as in
cosmetics, perfume, health beverages, and medicines
As for flowers and decorative plants, the exhibition
showcase includes: tropical flowers, winter flowers,
wetland decorative plants, rare plants, seed and
sapling production, conservation and industrial care,
vertical gardens and green walls and green roofs, and
a landmark created from flowers, such as a flower
sundial.
3. Tropical Fruits
Udon Thani reigns as a leading producer of major
tropical fruits, which have high nutritious value and
are available in numerous variations, with advanced
innovations and technology leading to the high
export rate of these fruits. The Tropical Fruit Orchard
will showcase :
1) economic fruits such as papaya, durian, mango,
pomelo, and coconut
2) minor tropical fruits such as watermelon, dragon
fruit, sugar apple, and other healthy fruits
3) technology to help grow fruit trees indoors in
order to grow out-of-season fruit, including harvest
technology and production technology.
