Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Visits Udon Thani to Monitor Readiness for the International Horticultural Expo 2026

On 17 April 2026, Mr. Watcharaphon Khaokham, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, visited Udon Thani Province to follow up on the progress of preparations for the International Horticultural Exposition, Udon Thani 2026. He received a briefing from the Department of Agriculture and surveyed the exposition site at the Nong Dae Wetlands, Kut Sa Subdistrict, Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani Province.

He then attended a meeting to follow up on the progress of operations at the Krom Luang Prajak Sillapakhom Meeting Room, Udon Thani Provincial Hall, Mak Khaeng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province. The meeting was attended by Mr. Rapeepat Chantharasriwong, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture; Mrs. Sasiya Pantan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Agriculture; Ms. Kanchana Thongna, Director of the Office for the International Horticultural Exposition; the executive team of the Department of Agriculture; and other relevant officials, all of whom were in full attendance.

The purpose of this meeting was to follow up on the progress of operations across various areas—including the development of the exposition site, the construction of infrastructure, and preparations relating to exhibitions, academic matters, and facilitation services—in order to ensure that the International Horticultural Exposition, Udon Thani 2026, proceeds according to plan and meets international standards.
