Meeting of the Working Group on International Affairs, Academic Seminars, and Competitions

On 26 February 2026, Ms. Sasinya Pantan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, chaired the 1/2026 Meeting of the Working Group on International Affairs, Academic Seminars, and Competitions at the Main Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Training and Technology Transfer Operations Center Building, Department of Agriculture, and via electronic platform through the Zoom Cloud Meetings application.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Kanchana Thongna, Director of the Office of the World Horticultural Exposition; Ms. Ratchanee Siriyan, Acting Fruit Crop Specialist; Ms. Wilaiwan Thawichsri, Director of the Academic Group; representatives of the Horticultural Science Society of Thailand; distinguished experts; and relevant working group members.

During the meeting, participants were informed of the progress of building construction, utility systems, and landscape architecture works, as well as the operational plan and budget expenditure for the World Horticultural Exposition Udon Thani 2026 project. Preparations for the in-depth site inspection by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH Site Inspection) were also discussed, along with the review and revision of the appointment order of the Working Group on International Affairs, Academic Seminars, and Competitions.
