Office of the World Horticultural Exposition Receives AIPH Representative on a Courtesy Visit

On 5 March 2026, Mr. Rapeepat Chandarasriwong, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, welcomed Ms. Elena Terekhova, International Relations Manager and representative of the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), along with her delegation, on a courtesy visit. The meeting was attended by Ms. Sasinya Pantan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, representatives from the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and relevant working group members at the meeting room of the Director-General’s Office, Department of Agriculture.

On this occasion, Ms. Kanchana Thongna, Director of the Office of the World Horticultural Exposition, together with Ms. Ratchanee Siriyan, Acting Fruit Crop Specialist; Mr. Weerayut Dattanaram, Head of the General Administration Division of the Office of the World Horticultural Exposition; and related officials also participated in the meeting.

The meeting discussed the progress of preparations for the World Horticultural Exposition Udon Thani 2026, in conjunction with the second in-depth site inspection conducted by the AIPH delegation during 4–5 March 2026. The visit aimed to review the project’s progress and evaluate developments based on recommendations from the previous inspection. The findings will be compiled and reported at the AIPH Meeting Sydney 2026 on 8 March 2026.
