Office of the World Horticultural Exposition Welcomes AIPH Delegation for Readiness Inspection of World Horticultural Exposition Udon Thani 2026

On 4 March 2026, Mr. Rapeepat Chandarasriwong, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, assigned Ms. Kanchana Thongna, Director of the Office of the World Horticultural Exposition, together with Ms. Paweena Choichum, Director of the Udon Thani Agricultural Research and Development Center; Ms. Ratchanee Siriyan, Acting Fruit Crop Specialist; Ms. Wilaiwan Thawichsri, Director of the Academic Group; and officials from the Department of Agriculture, to welcome Ms. Elena Terekhova, representative from the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), on the occasion of her visit to inspect the progress of preparations for the World Horticultural Exposition Udon Thani 2026 (AIPH Site Inspection 2026).

Mr. Rachan Sunhua, Governor of Udon Thani Province, together with relevant agencies, also joined the site visit at Nong Daed Wetland, Kut Sa Subdistrict, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province, to follow up on the progress of the development of the exhibition area.

During the visit, the delegation toured key locations within the Expo site, including the plant soil preparation area, the agricultural innovation exhibition area, the carbon credit garden, as well as the Isan Village Zone, International Gardens, Organizational Gardens, and Thematic Gardens, in order to ensure readiness for the upcoming event.
