Thailand and the United States Advance Cooperation for the International Garden at Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026

On 23 July 2026, Ms. Kanchana Thongna, Director of the Office for the International Horticultural Exposition, assigned Mrs. Wilaiwan Tawichsri, Director of the Academic Group of the Office for the International Horticultural Exposition, to chair a meeting with a representative from the United States to prepare for participation in the international garden displays at the International Horticultural Exposition, Udon Thani 2026, held at Meeting Room 213 of the Horticulture Research Institute and via an online meeting system (Zoom Meeting).

On this occasion, the meeting was honored by the participation of Ms. Levi Thang, representative from the United States, together with Dr. Parichat Photjanasin, Secretary of the Subcommittee on Foreign Affairs and International Gardens; Dr. Paitoon Bupphada; Ms. Prangthip Masodi; and members of the relevant working group, who joined in exchanging information and discussing various related matters.

This meeting was a continuation of the previous discussion, held to review progress, exchange information, and discuss details relating to design, the international garden displays, and approaches to coordination between the two sides, in order to ensure that the participation of the United States is carried out effectively and in line with the standards of the International Horticultural Exposition. This ongoing dialogue reflects the commitment of both Thailand and the United States to promoting horticultural cooperation on the international level and to jointly creating an international garden that conveys its distinctive identity and horticultural knowledge to visitors from around the world at the International Horticultural Exposition, Udon Thani 2026.
