During the conference, the delegation participated in lectures and presentations by global experts covering key topics in the horticultural industry, including Sustainability in Ornamental Horticulture by Global G.A.P. and A Global Sustainability Perspective.

The Thai delegation also conducted field visits to leading horticultural companies and research centers, including:

  • Anjers De Nijs, specializing in the export of carnations cultivated in smart greenhouses.
  • Viaverda Research Center, focusing on research and development of ornamental plants in both greenhouse and open-field systems, employing environmentally friendly and sustainable production technologies, and maintaining a diverse range of plant varieties.
  • Fleur, a fully integrated ornamental plant company with both online and wholesale distribution for landscaping purposes.

Through these visits, the Thai delegation gained valuable knowledge in plant breeding, smart greenhouse production, sustainable horticultural practices, online marketing, and full-cycle export processes. The insights obtained will be applied to enhance Thailand’s ornamental horticulture research, production, and international competitiveness, ensuring alignment with global standards.
