World Horticultural Expo Office Holds Discussion with Nepal on International Garden Participation in Udon Thani 2026

On 15 June 2026, Ms. Kanchana Thongna, Director of the Office for the International Horticultural Exposition, chaired a meeting to discuss the international garden displays together with representatives from Nepal, held at Meeting Room 213 of the Horticulture Research Institute and via an online meeting system (Zoom Meeting).

On this occasion, the meeting was honored by the participation of Mr. Ratna Man Dangol, Mr. Bipin Kumar Chitrakar, and Mr. Prasiddha Man Dangol, representatives from Nepal, together with Mrs. Piyanuch Nakha, Advisor to the Department of Agriculture; Mrs. Wilaiwan Tawichsri, Director of the Academic Group; Dr. Parichat Photjanasin, Secretary of the Subcommittee on Foreign Affairs and International Gardens; as well as members of the working group and relevant personnel from the Office for the International Horticultural Exposition.

The meeting was held to exchange information and views and to discuss approaches to cooperation in preparing for Nepal’s participation in the international garden displays at the International Horticultural Exposition, Udon Thani 2026, including coordination across various areas to ensure that operations are carried out efficiently and in line with international event standards.

This discussion marks another important step in strengthening horticultural cooperation between Thailand and Nepal, as well as in supporting the building of international cooperation networks—which will help elevate the exchange of knowledge and promote the sustainable development of the horticultural field on the international stage, through the International Horticultural Exposition, Udon Thani 2026.
